Morning Weather A mix of cloudy and clear skies.. High 8°C and a low of 4°C (45deg;F/38°F)
Current Moon Phase: Waning Crescent
Morning sirens go off at 7:15am, and evening sirens are at 5:37 pm.
- There is a brief article in today’s news about a break-in last night at SERO gene bank & labs, suspected to be an inside job or an act of corporate sabotage. Although the company has not formally released details, reliable sources in management say that several vials of cryogenically frozen, viable embryos customized for certain powered genetic qualities have been stolen from cold storage.
- A normal rough hockey match turned lethal at Grant Stadium last night, when Portside Puckaneers Goalie Riane Shane got into a heated third quarter brawl with Sector Six Saints Left Wing Leroy Mackie. Shane used her extra set of tentacled arms to nearly strangle and suffocate the Saints player, who had to be carried off the ice after he passed out. The crowd, wild with shrieks of approval, seemed more disappointed that the fight was over than the match itself, which was called when the referee was immediately suspended by Siren’s Port Sports Association.
